Oh, the excitement! It’s just two weeks until the 2013 version of what has been a beloved Sanibel musical tradition for 25 years – the Sanibel Music Festival.
The first performance in the 26th annual Sanibel Music Festival takes place on Saturday March 2 at the Sanibel Congregational Church. Trio Cavatina, formed by three talented women musicians – Violinist Harumi Rhodes, Cellist Priscilla Lee and pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute – will perform Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 1 No. 1 in E-Flat Major, Faure’s Piano Trio in D-Minor Op. 120 and Ravel’s Piano Trio in A-minor. The performance will begin at 8:00pm.
We look forward to this and the remainder of the season’s schedule. As many of our annual guests at the West Wind Inn say, “Save March for Music.” How about you?
