Zing Zing Shrimp

 Ingredients:

  • 6 large shrimp, cut in half longwise
  • 4 canned artichoke hearts, halved
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 oz. crushed red pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 oz. heavy cream
  • 1 oz. sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 oz. fresh chopped garlic
  • 1 oz. finely diced shallots
  • 1 oz. white wine
  • 1/2 oz. fresh chopped basil
  • 1 oz. parmesan cheese

Directions:

Start with a hot pan over medium high heat with about an ounce of olive oil. Add shrimp and artichokes. Sauté for about a minute. Add the garlic, shallots, basil, crushed red pepper, sriracha, pinch of salt and pepper. Continue cooking for another minute. Add white wine and lemon juice. Cook another minute then add heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Continue cooking until sauce thickens a bit (about 2 minutes). Pour into serving dish and serve with a lemon wedge.
